A Fort Collins police detective has been suspended with pay after he was arrested for alleged domestic violence.

Jason Jungmeyer, 37, was arrested Thursday on one count of harassment and domestic violence, according to a news release from the Fort Collins police.

Jungmeyer turned himself in to the Larimer County jail and was released on a $1,000 cash bond.

Jungmeyer is on paid administrative leave and an internal affairs investigation is being conducted, according to the release.

Jungmeyer’s next court date is March 6.
