The Denver Post was presented more than 120 awards Friday night in both of Colorado’s annual journalism contests.
In the Colorado Press Association contest, the Post’s awards included General Excellence in its division and Public Service.
In the Colorado Associated Press Editors and Reporters contest, The Post won several Best of the Best honors, including online multimedia for ‘s “variety show,” layout and design for the Sunday, March 10, 2013, issue, and photography for “Heroin in Denver” by Joe Amon.
Amon also won an individual Best of Show for “Heroin in Denver.”
Winners were honored at a banquet Friday night.
