LOUISVILLE, Colo.—Some residents of Louisville say they are tired of special events in their community and they want a moratorium on permits.

The Louisville City Council is expected to take up their requests on Tuesday.

Other options are also on the table, including restricting the hours for music and movies at Community Park, only allowing events sponsored or promoted by the city or civic organizations, and limiting the number of events.

The Boulder Daily Camera reports ( ) some residents think there are too many events, including bike races, outdoor movies and farmers’ markets.

Residents say they are tired of trash being thrown on front lawns and people taking up parking places.
