1. Watch your favorite bands at SXSW – but only if you have an Apple device

Music and video streaming service to live stream the iTunes Music Festival at South by Southwest (SXSW), but there is a catch. You can only stream if you have a Mac, iOS device or Apple TV. If you do, from now through March 15, you can catch bands like Coldplay, Keith Urban and more.

has a new business model – to help marketers, publishers and others find photos based on previous searches. The service sells photos for a fixed fee of $250 and uses the information from  past searches to not only make recommendations, but let you know which photos could go viral.

has developed a native iOS app that curates sports content from around the web and customizes based on what sporting events or teams you follow. The app delivers notifications when news breaks or is published about your team, but also lets you follow other users and get alerts when a new comment or post is published.

5. JawBone releases UP24 for Android

JawBone’s UP24, an wearable wristband fitness tracker, can now be paired with an Android. JawBone just launched the UP 3.0 app in. Since its release in December, the wearable could only be paired with iOS device.
