The America East championship between Albany and Stony Brook got heated.
With the two fan bases standing side-by-side behind the net, you’d think that it would be a brawl between the fans. But the students were the well-behaved ones, compared to the mascots.
Albany’s Damien (a Great Dane) tussled with Stony Brook’s Seawolf, Wolfie, during Albany’s 69-60 win. From the video, it seemed to start when Damien crossed into Stony Brook’s side. Wolfie looks like he can fight though, tackling Damien once or twice before the man in a dog costume was escorted away.
