Search operations have been suspended Tuesday for a missing hiker in Eagle County because of adverse weather conditions.
James McGrogan, 39, of Chesterton, Ind., has been missing since Friday morning, when he became separated from his group in the area of the Eiseman Hut, north of Vail, according to a news release from the Eagle County Sheriff’s Office.
As of noon Tuesday, rescue efforts were put on hold due to the adverse winter weather, according to the release.
There is no exact time for operations to resume.
So far, crews have found no trace of McGrogan.
