Adam Cayton-Holland joins Funny or Die’s “Road 2 Oddball Tour” in May with Brody Stevens, Howard Kremer

Denver stand-up and Grawlix comedy troupe member will join L.A. comics Brody Stevens and Howard Kremer on Funny or Die’s Funny or Die announced today.

The 15-date tour, which kicks off at San Francisco’s Punchline on May 5 and ends in at Cap City in Austin, Texas on May 29, is the precursor to Funny or Die’s second annual .

Host and headliner Stevens was a performer on , which featured Dave Chapelle, Flight of the Conchords, Hannibal Buress, Kristen Schaal and others at Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre on Sept. 18. Performers and dates for this year’s Oddball tour will be announced in May, according to Funny or Die.

The “Road 2 Oddball Tour” plays Denver’s on May 8.

The “Road 2 Oddball” will feature a live and online stand-up competition in each city. Comics can , encourage friends to vote for them and, if chosen, perform on stage as part of “Road 2 Oddball” for a chance to join the national tour.

“Both tours really cater to the ultimate comedy fan and with the added element of our ‘StandUp’ challenge it’s a great showcase and opportunity for up and coming talent,” Funny or Die CEO Dick Glover said in a press release.

Cayton-Holland has been building steam lately as a member of the nationally-acclaimed Grawlix comedy team, which recently showcased at the in Austin. His from earlier this month, in which he furthered his half-joking campaign to get the Colorado Rockies to let him throw out the first pitch at their home opener in Denver’s Coors Field, helped tip the scales in getting the Rockies to .
