is a simple man. He takes pride in his big hats and companionship with many beautiful women. After two star-studded performances at Coachella and “Happy” still slaying the charts, Pharrell shared the “Marilyn Monroe” video on Wednesday. And the video, as you would imagine, includes a few of Pharrell’s favorite things.

We don’t need to include much of a description of this Luis Cervero-directed video: it’s pretty much just Pharrell wearing hats and dancing around various women in various settings. And there’s also Kelly Osbourne and some sort of bow and arrow thing. Yep that’s it.

With this many scantily-clad women in one video, will the

“If they just bothered to listen to my album, they’d know that itap an ode to women,” Pharrell said at the time in defense of the cover. Well, this “Marilyn Monroe” video certainly is an ode to women in some form…

On Thursday, Pharrell plans to release a digital book companion to his album:

“Happy…just finished my new book. You can only read it online. I’ll tweet the link on Thursday. Hope you enjoy,” he tweeted today.
