
1 Bad start to day. A man in the 7300 block of West 84th Way, Arvada, woke up on the morning of April 10 to discover his 1995 Honda Civic had been stolen overnight. The victim hoped the car broke down in the neighborhood, but a search failed to locate the stolen vehicle.
2 Sabatoge suspected on tires. On April 10, Arvada police took a telephone report at the police department, 8101 Ralston Road, from a man who found a screw near his sidewalk. In weeks prior, his wife had found a screw in her truck tire on two separate occasions. He suspected a neighbor of the sabotage.
3 Man growls at police. On April 25, in the area of West 58th Avenue and Vance Street, a patrol officer noticed a man who appeared drunk and stumbling on the sidewalk before dropping his bike in the bushes. The man became belligerent and growled at the police. He was issued a citation for consumption of alcohol by a person under the age of 21.
4 Pharmacy break-in. A burglary was reported at Medstuff Pharmacy, 10382 Ralston Road, on April 16. The burglars disabled an alarm system before forcing a door open. A list of stolen items couldn’t be determined until an inventory check was done.
5 Road rage reported. On April 16, a patrol officer was dispatched to the West Woods police station about a traffic altercation that took place near Yank Way and West 64th Avenue. The driver of a yellow Honda Civic was aggressively driving around the reporting party’s vehicle and threatened physical assault.
