
1 Stolen wood. On April 22, a Douglas County Sheriff’s Office deputy was dispatched to the 5000 block of Covelo Drivein Castle Rock, where a man reported someone took a basement pack of 2x4s from a basement under construction. He estimated it would cost $2,000 to replace them.
2 Construction theft. On April 22, a deputy was dispatched to the 8300 block of Colorado 85 in unincorporated Littleton where someone stole a man’s eight radiators, rock crusher transmission and air compressor from a shed.
3 Counterfeit bill. On April 22, a deputy responded to On The Border Mexican Grill, 8555 S. Quebec St.in Highlands Ranch, where a manager found a counterfeit $50 that had a security stripe from a $5 bill. The bill, of unknown origin, was confiscated.
4 License plate theft. On April 21, a deputy responded to the 8800 block of Creekside Wayin Highlands Ranch where someone stole the license plate off a motorcycle a man was borrowing from a friend. He believed it was stolen when he went to Denver.
5 Broken side mirror. On April 21, a deputy took a call about a criminal mischief in the 16200 block of Bluebonnet Drive in Parker, where someone had broken the side mirror of a man’s company car. It took a couple hundred dollars to fix it.
6 Missing wallet. On April 20, a deputy was dispatched to Clock Tower Grill, 9360 Station St. in Lone Tree, where a man paid his bill, set down his wallet and realized he’d left it there once he stepped out the restaurant; the wallet was not there when he returned.
