Satchel Caldwell, Boulder track: One of the leaders of an experienced distance team, Caldwell had a record day at the Liberty Bell Invitational on his way to sixth and seventh-place finishes in the individual distance runs. He set a Boulder High record in the 3,200-meter run with a time of 9:35.77 (previous mark stood for 33 years), and also ran the 1,600 in 4:37.95. His 2-mile time is currently eighth in Class 5A.
Girls
Katie Forsee, Broomfield soccer: As the Eagles wrapped up another Northern League title, Forsee was busy having one of her most productive weeks of the year. The senior scored four goals and added an assist in three wins, her big game coming with a goal and an assist in BHS’ win over Niwot to claim the league title outright.
