Getting your player ready...
For the family looking for a chance to spread out, both indoors and out, D.R. Horton has a roomy ranch model now open 15 minutes from Parker with two eye-catching features you won’t want to miss: a neighborhood surrounded by wide-open spaces, and prices below what you’ve seen closer in to town – from the low $300,000’s.
Every home at D.R. Horton’s Spring Valley Ranch comes on a site of at least a quarter acre – and D.R. Horton still has seven sites left that are as large as a half-acre. “Getting this kind of space is huge to people,” says Bill McCurdy, who will show you the new “Brown’s” ranch model today, and the sites where you could have that or D.R. Horton’s other ranch or two-story models built. He’s already sold four homes to families who came out for a look in advance of the grand opening. McCurdy says that Spring Valley Ranch’s sites – very close to pretty Spring Valley Golf Course beside Box Elder Creek – occupy a sweet spot that appeals to buyers now – with sites much larger than the 6,000 or 7,000-square-foot lots many communities show; but not near as expensive as new homes on five-acre sites, the next typical move upward. You’ll find the same size-value emphasis in D.R. Horton’s newest model, the Brown’s – 2,294 square feet in a ranch main level, enhanced by 1,700 finished square feet in the basement, that many buyers will option to have completed up front. The finished basement option creates even greater possibilities in D.R. Horton’s Lenox big-family plan – 4,115 square feet that can work as five bedrooms with four baths; plus the possibility of 2,000 finished square feet with a sixth bedroom in the basement, for more than 6,000 square feet. D.R. Horton is anticipating that these will sell even faster with this new ranch model open, and has three other homes nearby that will be move in ready by June or July, for buyers who want to move soon. The surroundings, McCurdy says, have that a quiet and serenity you won’t find closer in – but has an elementary school within five minutes, and shopping in both Parker and at Southlands, he adds.
