For the 20th straight year, the Colorado and Colorado State football teams will face off in the Rocky Mountain Showdown.
The Buffaloes and the Rams will kick off their football seasons at 7 p.m. Aug. 29 at Sports Authority Field at Mile High. It is the 14th time the teams will play in Denver. The game will be shown on FS1.
The two teams have faced each other 85 times since 1893 with CU holding a 62-21-2 edge. Since 1995, the Buffaloes hold a 13-6 advantage over the Rams. Colorado won 41-27 in 2013.
