Police are searching for a trucker who tried to shoot a Port of Entry officer in Fort Collins.
The gun, however, did not fire when the suspect pulled the trigger around 7:40 a.m. Sunday in the port of entry’s office, according to a news release from the Colorado State Patrol.
The suspect was driving a very dirty, white semi-tractor truck that was towing a white box trailer. The trucker driving south on I-25. The semi may have the numbers “4177” behind the passenger-side door, and the numbers may be part of a longer serial number.
The Fort Collins Police Department is leading the investigation.
