Do you know the Silent Bob half of ? He’s the one who either stands quietly behind Macklemore or sits at a computer with his hands in the air as Macklemore raps. Despite actually having two names, no one really knows what actually does, as Jimmy Fallon pointed out on Monday on “The Tonight Show.”
In a segment, Lewis (with no disguise at all) asks people on the street if they know what the non-Macklemore half of the hip-hop duo does.
“He’s doing something with computers and what-not,” responds one guy.
“Don’t really know what he does; he’s like a package deal. He comes with Macklemore a lot,” says another.
He then asks his guests to point out Ryan Lewis in a picture. While most people get that Lewis is the not-Macklemore in the photo, they don’t even realize that they are actually talking to not-Macklemore.
But the toughest thing to digest about this video is Ryan creating the phrase, “You just got Lewis-ed.”
