The Denver District Attorney filed formal charges against five people in connection to the shooting death of a 44-year-old man in May.
The charges allege that the co-defendants were involved with a in the parking lot of a Quality Inn near Peoria Way and Interstate 70 on May 19, according to a news release from the Denver District Attorney’s Office.
Nicholas Davis, 34, faces one count of first-degree murder, felony murder, attempted robbery and illegal discharge of a firearm. All are felonies.
David Hill, 45; Jacob Lozano-Flores, 21; and 22-year-old Adrian Ornelas each face one count of felony murder and attempted robbery.
Marlena Terrazas, 18, is charged with being an accessory — also a felony.
All five defendants remain in custody. Court dates have not yet been set.
