A Denver Police officer was hit by a suspected drunk driver early Friday morning in a construction zone on Pena Boulevard near Denver International Airport.
The officer was patrolling the construction zone in an unmarked vehicle when she was rear-ended, police said.
The officer was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, police said.
Investigators on scene told 7NEWS the woman who hit the officer will likely face DUI charges.
