
1 Loud bang. A woman called police to her home in the 1900 block of Jamaica Street because someone shot the window of her car out with a BB gun. The victim said she heard a loud bang outside her home June 7, but didn’t investigate until morning.
2 Rent argument. A man was taken to the hospital after he punched his girlfriend’s computer screen and cut his arm June 7. The girlfriend told police the man broke the screen because he was angry that he had to contribute to rent payments on their home in the 18100 block of East Ohio Avenue.
3 Retaliatory pill dumping. Police were called to the 1000 block of South Fraser Way because a man said his sister stole three of his prescription medications and dumped them on the garage floor because she was mad at him June 5.
4 Stranded. A man went to the Aurora Police Department to report that someone broke into his car, stole his keys and checkbook and then cashed a $400 check June 2. The man told police he lives in his car and needs his keys to get around.
5 Cell phone tracker. A patrolling officer was flagged down by a man who said he tracked his daughter’s stolen cell phone to a group of people standing outside the Aurora Motel at 11712 E. Colfax Ave. The officer called the phone and it rang in one of the suspect’s hands May 31. The suspect said he found the phone on a bench.
6 Chip thief. Police responded to the Circle K at 600 S. Buckley Road because a man stole several bags of chips May 29. Police tracked the suspect by his license plate, but the station clerk could not identify him.
