The War on Drugs brought a smooth performance of “Red Eyes” to Letterman on Monday.
The Secretly Canadian stalwarts are in full support of their latest LP, “Lost in the Dream,” which is being showered by critical praise and radio play on Triple A formats across the country.
Lead vocalist, Adam Granduciel, veered a little on the jammy (as jammy as one can be on national television) side with some extended riffs, but Letterman band leader, Paul Shaffer, was the one having all of the fun behind the keys.
Look for the War on Drugs to make their return to Colorado this year for a two night stint in Boulder and Denver respectively.
