1 Fireworks trespass. On June 30, a Douglas County Sheriff’s Office deputy was dispatched to Davey Jones Fireworks Company, 2530 E. County Line Road, Highlands Ranch where someone had broken into the fireworks tent in the middle of the night but was spotted by an employee before they could steal anything.

2 Construction theft. On June 29, a deputy responded to a construction site at 1500 East County Line Road in Highlands Ranch where someone broke onto the site and stole several tools worth thousands of dollars.

3 Egged. On June 28, a deputy was dispatched to the 9600 block of Sun Meadow Street in Highlands Ranch where someone had egged a man’s trailer, causing paint damage, as well as to the cars of his neighbors.

4 Card theft. On June 28, a deputy was dispatched to the 7000 block of Turweston Lane in Castle Pines where someone had broken into a man’s truck, stolen his wallet and used his credit card to purchase $1,500 in items.

5 Handbag theft. On June 27, a deputy was dispatched to TJ Maxx, 9579 S. University Blvd. in Highlands Ranch, where a woman took a gold-colored Michael Kors handbag from the store without paying for it. The bag was worth $199. She was not found later by deputies.

6 License plate theft. On June 26, a deputy was dispatched to the 9400 block of Morning Glory Lane in Highlands Ranch where someone had stolen the license plates off a man’s car he had been given after his brother-in-law had died earlier in the year. The stolen license plates had been issued inCalifornia.
