Drum up the works
Often compared to “a Broadway musical on a football field,” at 6:30 p.m. July 12. Several notable drum and bugle corps are participating in the 50-plus-year tradition, including the local Blue Knights, the Santa Clara Vanguard, Casper Troopers and the Oregon Crusaders. Entertainment with the Stampede and Bronco Brass is offered before the show, along with food, refreshments and the friendly “DrumLine Battle” between local high schools.
