Re: “Boulder ruling opens doors for same-sex marriage licenses,” July 11 news story.

When I took last Friday’s Denver Post out of the wrapper, the first thing staring me in my face was a photo of two women kissing and a young boy in the middle of them. It was, in my opinion, a photo that was not worthy of the front page. There is a voter-approved ban on gay marriage in Colorado. Until that has been overturned, the law should be obeyed. That picture has opened the door for confusion amongst children of all ages. We as parents and grandparents must now continue to express in our family the importance of being obedient to God’s law first and the law of the state.
