WASHINGTON — Ahead of a reporting deadline this week, the campaign of U.S. Sen. Mark Udall announced today that the Colorado Democrat raised $3.1 million in the last three months and had $5.7 million socked away for his re-election bid against U.S. Rep. Cory Gardner, R-Yuma.

The totals put him ahead of Gardner, who and a fundraising haul of $2.7 million from April 1 to June 30.

Details on who gave — and how much — to Udall and Gardner will be available after the July 15 filing deadline with the Federal Election Commission.
