The Arapahoe County Clerk and Recorder’s Office is seeking public comment on a proposal to set up 25 voter service and polling centers for the Nov. 4 general election.
While all active voters will receive a mail ballot, counties also must offer in-person services at voter service and polling centers in every election. Voters can register to vote in-person, update their voter records or party affiliations, request or replace a ballot, or vote on an accessible voting machine at the centers.
Eleven locations will be open Oct. 20 – Nov. 4 for early voting in Arapahoe County, while the remaining locations will be open Nov. 1-4. Citizens may visit any voter service and polling center in the county.
Public comment on this plan will be accepted through Aug. 1. Comments , by mail to the Clerk and Recorder’s Office, 5334 South Prince St., Littleton, Colo. 80120, or by email to elections@arapahoegov.com.
Interested citizens are also invited to attend a public hearing at 1 p.m. on Aug. 1 in the west hearing room of the Arapahoe County Administration Building at 5334 South Prince St. in Littleton.
