Denver police and firefighters are keeping people clear of the intersection of West Barberry Place and North Bryant Street after a construction crew hit a gas line on Monday.
The ruptured line was reported at 2:17 p.m., said Denver Fire spokesman Mark Watson.
Xcel Energy employees are also on hand and checking buildings nearby for gas, Watson said.
No injuries were reported.
