
A Denver County Court judge delayed a hearing Tuesday for , who is at a bartender, at the request of his lawyer.
Abraham Hutt asked Judge Johnny Barajas for the delay, saying that he needed time to review discovery he had just received.
Barajas set the next hearing for Aug. 4, and the trial for Sept. 23.
Ward was and disturbing the peace after the incident May 10 at PT’s All Nude, 3480 S. Galena St.
Ward was holding a bottle that he hadn’t purchased at the bar when the bartender told him to take it to his car or throw it away.
When the bartender saw him pour from the bottle into a cup filled with a nonalcoholic drink he bought at the bar, she took the cup and poured it out. He is accused of hitting her in the wrist with the mug.
