San Diego Comic Con is officially underway and right off the bat there’s been a big announcement. Marvel’s “Ant-Man”, starring Paul Rudd and Michael Douglas, is set to hit theaters July 2015.
Marvel tweeted a photo of concept poster art for “Ant-Man” last night, imploring fans to stop by their booth at the convention.
reports that Rudd will play Scott Lang, who steals the Ant-Man suit and shrinking formula from the original Ant-Man, Hank Pym (played by Douglas).
For those who aren’t in the know, Ant-Man’s superpowers include being able to shrink to the size of an ant or grow to 100 feet. He can also control ants using a cybernetic helmet. The original Ant-Man is Hank Pym who discovered that he could alter his size by consuming a group of subatomic particles, known as Pym particles.
