Before I take off for some needed R’n’R, one last “Hockey Talk” here. of is my guest, and Ryan O’Reilly is the main topic, a discussion of his two-year, $12 million deal signed Wednesday. Is this the start of a beautiful new relationship again, or is it just a two-year bridge to when he’ll either bolt unrestricted or get traded first?
Was there a winner in this latest negotiation? A loser? We break it all down.
I’m in the process of getting some better audio equipment to do interviews over the phone for these. By next season, hopefully I’ll have mastered it more. This podcast has a couple moments where my voice is not heard as well as other times, but overall the whole podcast isn’t too bad in that area. Good mic or not, my usual summer allergies are playing havoc with my sinuses, so I definitely sound sniffly at times.
