A man and a woman on bicycles were seriously injured Saturday morning after a man turned his minivan into an alley and hit them, police say.
The names of the injured bicyclists have not been released.
The male driver was cited for misdemeanor careless driving, said Officer Everett Moore, a Denver police spokesman.
The collision happened at East Montview Boulevard and Valentia Street at 9:10 a.m., he said.
The man was going east on Montview and apparently did not see the two cyclists, Moore said.
