As torrential rains and severe weather move through southern Colorado, a mudslide has closed U.S. 50 near Salida.
The slide happened about 6:30 p.m., 2 miles east of the Chaffee County town, according to the state Department of Transportation.
The department said there is no estimated time of reopening.
