Tom Robinson, who for the last 13 years has been assistant commissioner for the Colorado High School Activities Association, was named associate commissioner of CHSAA on Tuesday, president Paul Angelico announced.

Prior to joining CHSAA, Robinson taught mathematics for 30 years at Regis Jesuit High School. He was the Raiders’ varsity basketball coach from 1983-93, varsity golf coach from 1993-95, and served as an assistant in football, basketball and track from 1969-83.

“I’m totally surprised and humbled by all this. I will do my best to further assist Paul and this important organization in any way I can,” Robinson said in a statement.
