The first of three Cycle-in Cinema events is Thursday, Aug. 14.

New Belgium Brewing and REI are partnering to present a series of bike-in movies to benefit .

The first movie is “Dumb & Dumber.” The show starts at 7:30 p.m. at 1416 Platte St., next to the REI building, which is accessible from the Cherry Creek Bike Path and the Platte River Bike Path. Bring a low-back chair or a blanket.

Tickets are $8 in advance or $10 at the door, with money from beer and ticket sales going go Bike Denver. Advance tickets are available at . Food trucks will be at the scene.

Future movies in the Cycle-in Cinema series include “The Goonies” on Aug. 21 and “Pee Wee’s Big Adventure” on Aug. 28.
