A driver who died in a has been identified.
Ginger Underwood, 67, of Wheat Ridge, was driving a Lexus sedan westbound when the car crossed a center median into oncoming eastbound traffic, according to the Lakewood Police Department.
The Lexus hit a semi-truck and Underwood died at the scene, according to a police department media release.
The driver of the truck was taken to a local hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening.
An investigation into the cause of Tuesday morning’s crash is ongoing, including a return of toxicology reports from the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office.
Police, however, do not suspect that drugs or alcohol were involved.
