BOULDER — Colorado players have warned during August camp to not forget about senior receiver Tyler McCulloch.
McCulloch, 6-foot-5 and 215 pounds, had a turf-toe injury that limited him in 2013 (14 catches for 138 yards and one touchdown) and kept him out of contact work in the spring.
Following Wednesday morning’s practice, CU coach Mike MacIntyre was asked if McCulloch had made strides during preseason camp.
“Tyler has been able to practice every day, that’s his strides,” MacIntyre said. “Last year, his foot kept bothering him. He is making the strides, yes.”
For his career, the Albuquerque native has 58 catches for 670 yards and four touchdowns.
“I feel great,” McCulloch said recently. “I’m just working hard out there.”
