Cherry Creek Schools Fitness Festival
Sept. 6: The 14th annual festival with the continuing goal of “Learn to Live Healthy” includes a 5K, 1K run/walk, field day activities and more for the entire family followed by an after-party with entertainment, children’s activities, awards and giveaways. 7:30 a.m. race-day registration, packet pick-up, fitness activities and Healthy Living EXPO opens; 8:30 a.m. run/walks begin. Sept. 6: Homefont Heroes presents the seventh annual benefit that includes a timed 5K, 10K and half-marathon, a family-friendly 5K walk and 10-mile training course. A post-race expo follows. Homefront Heroes is a nonprofit that provides support to American veterans and families and American troops serving all over the world.
