FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) — Crews are working to rescue a hiker who fell into a crevice near a popular trail near Fort Collins.

The Coloradoan (http://noconow.co/1tg1ROa) says the 16-year-old girl reportedly slid about 50 feet before falling another 15 feet into a crevice at Horsetooth Rock on Monday.

The girl broke her ankle and suffered minor head injuries in the fall.

A helicopter is waiting to take her to the hospital once she is pulled out.
