1 Ring around the drive-through. A drunken man walked up to the drive-through window of the Sonic at 9500 N. Federal Blvd., Federal Heights, and harassed employees and customers Aug. 7. The man chased an employee on roller skates around the building before police arrived and arrested him.
2 Trash shopping. Police responded to the Family Dollar at 9410 Federal Blvd., Federal Heights, after a man was caught stealing. The thief picked up a small trash can near the register and piled merchandise inside Aug. 5. He dropped everything when approached by security.
3 The meds made me do it. A woman who was ticketed for stealing from the Kohl’s at 12090 Colorado Blvd., Thornton, told police that her new medication made her forgetful, which is why she stole $800 worth of clothes. The woman pulled tags off the clothes and tried leave the store Aug. 7.
4 Drunk at Water World. Two drunken men were arrested after they tried to get into Water World, 8801 N. Pecos St., Federal Heights. The suspects were kicked out of the park with a warning Aug. 2, but police arrested them when they tried to get back in.
5 Accidental shooting. A man who lives in the 10300 block of Zuni Street, Federal Heights, was taken to the hospital July 31 because he shot himself in the knee with a handgun. The man said he was just cleaning the gun.
6 Busted. On Aug. 7, a patrolling police officer pulled over a man for running a stop sign in the 9600 block of Steele Street, Thornton. The officer discovered that that car was stolen, so the driver was arrested.
