New Denver clothing company has come up with an intriguing promotion, offering free eighths of weed to qualifying customers and spreading the word online. Itap a savvy marketing ploy for a company that won’t launch until December 2014. (On their website you have to enter your email address to learn more about how the promotion works.)

The laws about Colorado recreational marijuana are clear, and on its face, it appears the promo is adhering to the rules: Itap OK to age 21 or over (sales can only happen through a state-licensed retailer). The company says it will deliver the free eighth in person, along with the clothing order, and the recipient must present a valid I.D. to get the cannabis gift.
According to the company’s website, its hemp line includes socks, T-shirts, sweaters, hoodies, hats, backpacks and more.
For online orders that aren’t in the delivery area, there’s a promise you’ll receive “something else special.”
