Fans have waited a decade for a follow-up to “You’re a Woman, I’m a Machine” from Canadian thrashers . Fortunately, Jesse F. Keeler and Sebastien Grainger have put their bad beef behind and decided to pick up their bass and drum kit, respectively, and bring their wrath to eardrums everywhere.
The duo demolished the Ed Sullivan Theatre last night with a pulverizing performance of “Trainwreck 1979,” from new album “the Physical World.” Keeler’s soft harmonies provided a perfect counterpoint to the shattering drums from vocalist Grainger, with help from band leader and keyboardist Paul Shaffer. Look for the duo to hit the road at the beginning of November, with a visit to Boulder’s around Thanksgiving.
