GREELEY, Colo. (AP) — A Greeley veterinarian accused of treating people has pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges.
The Greeley Tribune (http://bit.ly/X6MKvX ) reported Thursday that Fran Freemyer pleaded guilty to two counts of unauthorized practice.
A police report says Freemyer initially denied treating the allegations but later told police he used an experimental cream intended to treat cancer on a man’s foot.
Several other people said they were also treated by Freemyer, including a woman who said a cream applied to her face and chest caused a painful sensation and left scars.
He’s is scheduled to be sentenced on Oct. 27.
