1 Tire tracks on lawn. On Sept. 10, a Douglas County Sheriff’s deputy took a criminal mischief report at the Highlands Ranch Sub-station,9250 Zotos Drive, where a man said someone had driven into his front lawn, leaving deep tire tracks made worse by the rain.

2 Buddhas stolen. On Sept. 10, a deputy was dispatched to the 9100 block of White Pelican Wayin Highlands Ranch where someone had stolen two Buddha statutes from a woman’s front yard, each worth $2,500. She suspected it might be teenagers or a landscaper.

3 Bike stolen. On Sept. 9, a deputy was dispatched to the 8800 block of South Miners Placein Highlands Ranch, where someone stole a man’s mountain bike from his garage overnight. The bike was worth $800.

4 Vehicular mischief. On Sept. 8, a deputy was dispatched to the 9600 block of South Meridian Boulevard in unincorporated Douglas County where someone had damaged the side of a man’s car, leaving a 4-inch vertical dent. He estimated it would cost $500-$1,000 to repair.

5 Alcohol stolen from car. On Sept. 6, a deputy talked to a woman who was visiting her sister in the 300 block of Quail Ridge Circle in Highlands Ranch, where someone had got into her car and stolen $220 bottles of alcohol but not her golf clubs.

6 Identity theft. On Sept. 5, a deputy was dispatched to the 10100 block of Riverstone Drivein Parker, where a man had received packages for beauty products he never ordered. Someone had used his personal information to purchase the products.
