Getting your player ready...
A water main break in downtown Denver will tie up traffic Wednesday morning and several buildings are without water.
The break happened about 2:15 a.m. in the 1500 block of Champa Street, according to Denver Water.
Crews are working on repairs of the 8-inch diameter pipe, which was installed in 1890.
Several factors come into play on possible causes of the break, including age, pipe material, corrosive soils, water flow and temperature.
Traffic has been reduced to one lane on Champa between 15th and 16th streets.
