BRIGHTON — Authorities in Brighton said they seized at least 69 cats from a trailer after neighbors complained about the horrible conditions in and around the home.
The cats were recovered from a trailer at the East Gate Mobile Home Park at 3060 E. Bridge St., according to the Brighton Police Department.
Neighbors called Brighton Animal Control after seeing a dozen cats in a window of the trailer.
Officers said there were eviction notices on the trailer and believe the woman who lived there is out of state. Her name has not been released.
