A 37-year-old man was arrested over the weekend by Northglenn police for allegedly kidnapping a woman at knife point and sexually assaulting her.
Officers were called about 10:50 a.m. Saturday to the area of 104th Avenue and Lincoln Street on a report of a missing woman, according to a Northglenn Police Department media release.
Police determined the woman had been kidnapped by an “acquaintance,” who fled the area with the victim.
Just after 2 p.m. Saturday the suspect and victim returned to the area and the woman was able to flee her captor and contact officers.
The suspect was able to flee the area, but officers took him into custody at about 6:30 p.m. in a hotel parking lot at 120th Avenue and I-25, police said.
Police identified the suspect as Kyotte Kyle Knobbe.
Knobbe is being held at the Adams County Jail.
