Family fall festival
Four Mile Historic Park’s annual Pumpkin Harvest Festival is a must on the family to-do list. Build a scarecrow, play pioneer games, find a pumpkin in the pumpkin patch, watch historic demonstrations, tour the museum or take a horse-drawn wagon ride from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 4-5. Live music, a cakewalk, pie-eating contests and arts and crafts are also included. Admission is free (there is a charge for food and special activities). 715 S. Forest St., 720-865-0800,
