1 Jeep keyed. On Sept. 30, a Douglas County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to Walgreen’s, 4175 E. Wildcat Reserve Parkwayin Highlands Ranch, where someone had left deep key scratches on the driver’s side of a man’s Jeep. He estimated the damage would cost $800 to repair.
2 Photography equipment stolen. On Sept. 30, a deputy took a walk-in report for a crime that happened at Daniels Park,8699 North Daniels Park Road in Sedalia, where a woman taking senior class photos set her equipment down, out of sight, near her car and it was stolen.
3 Church offering taken. On Sept. 30, a deputy took a report for a crime that happened at St. Philip in the Field Episcopal Church,397 N. Perry Park Roadin Sedalia, where an usher believed someone had stolen an envelope with cash that was left as an offering to the church.
4 Broken window. On Sept. 28, a deputy responded to the Douglas County Events Center,500 Fairgrounds Drive in Castle Rock, where someone had broken a woman’s left rear window while she was inside. There were valuable items inside that were untouched.
5 Mailbox damaged. On Sept. 28, a deputy responded to the 5600 block of North Thunderhill Roadin Parker where someone had dented in the mailbox at a man’s rental property. He estimated it would cost $200 to fix.
6 Cars damaged. On Sept. 27, a deputy responded to the 8300 block of South Russet Lane in Highlands Ranch where someone had keyed several cars in the parking lot. One car’s rear driver’s side tire had been slashed.
