Oct. 22: 6-8 p.m. Dogs of Denver, a “pooch photography studio” and derivative of McNeil Designer Portraits, is hosting a launch party for the coffee table book they created to benefit Freedom Service Dogs. The book features 153 photographs of dogs whose owners donated money to the local nonprofit that rescues and custom trains dogs to help those with disabilities including children, adults, veterans and active duty soldiers.
