Eastbound Interstate 70 was closed near Pecos Street on Tuesday morning because of a multi-vehicle accident before reopening about an hour later.
The crash happened about 9 a.m. and involved at least three vehicles.
Traffic was being diverted off the highway and onto Interstate 25, according to Denver Police. The roadway was reopened about 10 a.m.
Information about possible injuries was not immediately available.
