The new album will once again be a free release, the musician revealed in The new album, “Surf,” is a follow up to his free album, “Acid Rap,” which launched Chance’s career in 2013. “Surf” is expected to be out before the end of the year.
Chance said in the interview that he has been working with Frank Ocean, Migos, Rick Rubin, and J. Cole and “Surf” will highlight trumpet player Donnie Trumpet.

“Surf is the first project, which is coming out before the end of 2014. It’s the first Social Experiment project. It’s a big step for all of us all putting our heads together and letting Nico hold the reigns and carry it. There’s a lot of great instrumentation. A lot of input from cool writers. I’m already saying too much.”
Chance’s story is a unique one in the industry. He’s an unsigned artist who has launched to fame based on the strength of his free mixtapes, which he has released on the Internet. He’s still an unsigned artist.
Earlier this year, Chance the Rapper with a sold out show at the Ogden Theatre. Local hip-hop group Air Dubai opened the show.
