Rockies third baseman Nolan Arenado is in line for a second consecutive Gold Glove award after he was named a finalist in the National League on Thursday.

Arenado joins Rockies second baseman DJ LeMahieu and first baseman Justin Morneau as finalists.

Arenado will go against San Francisco’s Pablo Sandoval and Los Angeles’ Juan Uribe for the NL award.

LeMahieu joins second-basemen finalists Brandon Phillips of Cincinati and Philadelphia’s Chase Utley.

And Morneau is up for the first base award along with L.A.’s Adrian Gonzalez and Washington’s Adam LaRoche.

Arenado won a Gold Glove award last season, the Rockies’ 15th defensive award in their history. LeMahieu and Morneau are going for their first Gold Gloves.

The finalists list was announced by the award’s sponsor, Rawlings. Winners will be announced Nov. 4.
